About the work

A vision of Utopia. Not as something distant or abstract, but as something already taking root.

Set at Rotterdam Centraal, this painting is about unity. About what becomes possible when systems, people, and planet finally begin to move in the same direction. It features Moments Contained by Thomas J Price, whose monumental presence at Stationsplein speaks directly to the questions this work is asking about visibility, belonging, and who gets to occupy space. The parakeet, a recurring symbol throughout the Between the Margins series, connects the migrant experience to the ecological one, both finding their place in a world that did not originally make room for them.

The painting was shaped in part by community input. A poll conducted with residents in Rotterdam surfaced recurring themes: Unity, Belonging, Representation, Togetherness. These directly informed the work along with my personal reflections.
In Tomorrow’s Boom is a one-of-a-kind original.
It is hand-signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
This work is executed on premium linen with professional deep wooden stretcher support and reinforced cross-bracing. The surface is prepared with multiple acrylic gesso layers and an isolation coat.
The finished work is sealed with a protective archival varnish. Every material decision was made with the same intention as the work itself
To ensure the highest level of care, each artwork is prepared individually before dispatch and shipped fully insured.
