About the Work
We live in a world where systems and institutions continue to create walls and inconvenience, serving only a disproportionate few. This painting imagines what comes after. The old structures that no longer serve us have fallen to the ruins, the way empires and civilisations before them did. Three influential institutional structures sit among those ruins. And those who were suppressed the longest, who carried the challenges placed on them, finally get their day to bloom, into a world more equal than the one we live in now.

This work is executed on premium linen with professional deep aluminium stretcher support and reinforced cross-bracing. The surface is prepared with multiple acrylic gesso layers and an isolation coat.
The finished work is sealed with a protective archival varnish. Every material decision was made with the same intention as the work itself
