You Think You Know

from €200.00

This is the story of the hidden struggles of women grappling with body image and self-perception. It tells the story of those who, despite outward appearances, live in quiet discomfort with themselves. Often seen as put-together and confident, these women mask their insecurities behind a carefully crafted facade, a coping mechanism to navigate the dissatisfaction they feel within. The painting invites viewers to look beyond the surface and recognize the silent battles that are often hidden from the world, challenging the assumption that all is as it seems.

“You Think You Know” is part of my ‘Lost Content Souls” collection. This limited edition fine art print is produced on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm, ensuring museum-quality texture and longevity. Each print comes signed, numbered, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a handwritten poem unique to this piece.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, they say.

You see, she poses dainty and kind,

But the sorrow in her eyes says she's also blind.

Body dysmorphia isn't a thing for the weak.

It preys on souls that you never quite see.

But they go out, they blend in,

Accept the fact they're just pretending.

In the end, that's all fine.

She's so sweet, and she's so kind,

She looks like she's having a good time.

Surely, she's fine.
