Gentle reflects the different versions of ourselves and the ever-changing phases we go through. It serves as a reminder to be less critical and more accepting of our personal journeys, to embrace both the moments of strength and the times when things don’t go as planned.
Some of the tulips in the painting stand tall, representing resilience and new growth, while others hang low, signifying the inevitable lows we experience. Some linger in between, caught in a moment where time has passed, and things haven’t unfolded as expected. Yet, despite these differences, the bouquet remains beautiful.
Too often, we are hard on ourselves when life doesn’t align with our expectations, or when we don’t meet the standards we set for ourselves. This piece encourages us to extend the same kindness and patience to ourselves that we would to something as delicate and ever-changing as a flower—reminding us to be gentle with our growth
